The actor says, past 6 years after losing all of the endorsements, walking is something that has sustained him. He was very huge, as huge as 196 kgs. He lost his family and wife and everything. When I think about it, I am like ‘God, you saved me ‘because I would look in the mirror and see the same voluptuous woman. It’s been who I am for most of my life but it didn’t make my life as difficult as it is now. When I was younger, I could handle my weight better and I was able to do most of the things, but as I am becoming older it’s becoming very difficult for me”. Then he started feeling slow that this could turn dangerous for his health.

In interviews, he says that he mentally switched himself when he got married. The actor says, “I have a family now, wife and children and I don’t want to leave them before I would have if I had just shed some weight. I don’t want to die”, he added. On his weight too, he was so ambitious about his career that whole day he could dance and sing, but once the show is over he couldn’t handle his health and rest for at least one week as his feet used to become sore enough.
After getting married, he had children that’s when he started realizing that he should take care of his health. He started losing weight in 2016, but then Nkanyiso faced financial problems that’s where he was too depressed about everything he was facing. He started eating a lot because of the problems faced by him and gained even more weight. But then again after some time, might be after a few months, he decided to do a weight loss show. Then his friends suggested that before doing the show, he should lose some weight so that he appears fit on the show.
When taking a look at his Instagram account he shared the before and after pictures of his weight loss that left many people stunned. He captioned the tweet, “Don’t quit until you see the results, because the minute you do, you will not quit its possible.
Then he started walking and also lessened his portion size as well. He used to be on carbs he preferred eating a high-carb diet. After waking up, he started to go on a walk. Then he used to eat fresh veggies all day long and meat as well. Carbs were taken in the morning only. After portioning out of his control, he started to lessen on eating sugar. Nkaniyo said, his weak point was eating sugar. He was addicted to eating big baked cakes, pastries, and doughnuts. He avoided all of those things and started to walk off. Nkanyiso said that he even continued doing strength training as well. When he started his journey he was 189 kgs. After following up diet and workout, he didn’t check his weight for about a year. Then after a year, he was 159 kgs. Still, he’s on a weight loss journey and he’s hoping that he could even lose more. His friends also congratulated him by saying, losing weight is not an easy task. It requires willpower and Nkanyiso have that, they added. One of his followers wrote “It is so visible, you look great and I am sure you feel it too. Ngiyakubongisa I am inspired”, he added.
