Shehnaaz Gill is an Indian actress, model, and singer who made her debut in Indian films. Her modeling career began in 2015. She blows out her candles on 27 January 1993. The high caloric parathas were not ditched by Shehnaaz but she still managed to shed those extra kilos of weight. Typical Indian food was only preferred by Shehnaaz as she called it the “Power diet”. Her diet pattern usually includes sprouts, dosas, and methi parathas.

She says, “I have a high protein breakfast. I eat what I used to eat before, I have just controlled my portions”. Her morning drink used to be turmeric water (Haldi water) which has a dash of apple cider vinegar in it.

In being interviewed with Times of India, Shehnaaz says, “Trust me, I went in for a simple reduction in my eating habits. The only thing I excluded from my diet is nonveg food. Apart from that she also removed ice creams and chocolates from her eating habits.

Much variety was not added to Shehnaaz Gill’s diet as she would eat just one or two things in her diet. She wouldn’t stuff more on daily basis and ate a very simple choice of food. Her food consumption was half what she craved.

Shehnaaz used to suppress her feeling of hunger and eat within limits. That actually worked for her to lose weight with fewer efforts. She achieved considerable weight loss as she used to weigh 67 kgs and came down to 55. Her change in eating habits made her lose weight in 2020.

One of the great weight loss tips which she shared was she used to drink lots and lots of water. Shehnaaz even has the habit of consuming milk and tea. Major changes were not made by Shehnaaz in order to lose weight. She just went simple in her eating habits. In order to avoid extra fat in her diet, Shehnaaz skipped adding butter or ghee to her food. Within a period of 6 months, the actress was successful in achieving her weight loss.

Shehnaaz was questioned if she has any future plans to still lose weight. On that,  Shehnaaz says, I am happy with the way I look at myself in the mirror. She said, “I cannot predict the future but I don’t think that I am going to get carried away and gain weight”.

Shehnaaz lost her weight for the second time as she lost before when she was in Punjab. She almost reached 55 kgs before she made her entry into Big Boss. Now after losing her weight she doesn’t have any plans to put on further as she feels really happy with the way she looks for. Shehnaaz says the camera makes us look a lot way better than what we really are. She says, ” If you are weighty, you get more roles, if you are plump, you will get similar types of roles. If you are not plump, you will get all kinds of roles”. Shehnaaz Gill achieved weight loss in a very simple manner focusing more on diet. Her workout efforts were not seen much.
