She lost about 15 kgs. Many of the actress’s weight loss pictures went viral on social media where the audiences showered happiness. The actress made up her mind to lose weight in recent years basis. Talking in an interview the actress said during the past 30 to 32 years she neglected her health completely. Due to this reason the actress gained a lot of weight. The actress even said that on reaching to that point of weight she faced a lot of complications and was at risk of being diabetic. Bharti was even experiencing tiredness due to her weight and developed asthma when she was doing a show named Khatron Key Khiladi. After losing her weight the actress felt lighter in her body and doesn’t have any health issues from now on.

As she decided to lose weight, one of her fellow colleagues asked Bharti to give fasting a try. She explained the tremendous benefits of fasting and asked her to give it a try. Bharti says, “ I would often talk to all these actors and they mentioned how they would fast for long hours”. She says, “ I decided to give it a try”. While working on it initially she used to crave food late at night. She worked on it and saw a major change in how her body accepted the new change. Bharti’s Weight Loss Diet

With the practice of Intermittent fasting, Bharti went from 91 to 76, losing about 16 kgs. The actress says while dieting, “I don’t follow any diet, I just fast for 15 to 16 hours and don’t eat anything between 7 om – 12p.m. “My body doesn’t accept dinner any later than 7 pm now”. Bharti laughs and says, I attack food after 12 pm. Then I have my regular parathas, eggs, dal, sabzi everything I always liked to eat. She further added saying, “ I am from a Punjabi family and Paratha Hamari Shaan hain. I never eat any fancy foods, and never eat post 7 pm- no matter what. In fact, my body has stopped accepting food at the wrong hours.

A video went viral on social media wherein Bharti was seen eating clarified butter with oil coated potato dish and dal swimming in oil. Jasmin Bhasin captured Bharti’s eating plate where Bharti commented, “Yeh Maine dala ghee on my dal.
