What is a keto diet?
Ketogenic diet is a form of low carbohydrate diet. This diet focuses mainly to arrive its calories from healthy fats then from proteins. Carbohydrates are least considered in a keto diet. We need to consume an average of 50 grams of carbohydrates in a keto diet. When the carbohydrates lacks in the diet the body runs out of fuel. It takes 4 days on a minimum basis for the body to go into a ketosis stage. When carbohydrates are deficient our body starts utilizing fats for energy purpose which helps in melting away fat from the body. As a result, a drastic change is seen in weight reduction.
15 days keto diet plan for weightloss:
Day 1 diet:
- Early Morning: Cinnamon Tea
- Breakfast: Keto protein smoothie with coconut milk
- Mid Morning: An avocado
- Lunch: 2 keto roti with paneer and vegetable bhurji(100 grams)
- Evening Time: Blackcofee with coconut oil
- Dinner: Broccoli and spinach soup with cream
Day 1 Workout:
- Brisk walking- 30 to 35 minutes
- Bicycling for 20 minutes
- Sit ups for 20 to 25 times -2 sets
